Privacy policy

For the website methodarium.com · Information under Art. 13 GDPR · Version 1, October 2026

In short

1. Who is responsible

Felix Gann, Fenzlgasse 22/1, 1150 Vienna, Austria, e-mail info@methodarium.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to.

2. Visiting this website

When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that the web server records in a log file: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data sent, the referring page, and browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the website and to keep it secure, for example to detect attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our host deletes the log files after two weeks.

The website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, 4020 Linz, Austria, which processes this data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The data stays in the EU.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage or similar technologies, and it does not load anything from other servers. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. If this ever changes, we will ask for your consent beforehand where the law requires it (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021).

4. Writing to us

Links such as “Request early access” and “Contact” open your own e-mail program; the website itself has no form and does not send anything. If you write to us, we process your e-mail address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message to answer you and, if you ask for it, to invite you to test Methodarium. Legal basis: steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Our mailbox is also hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Linz, Austria, as a processor. We delete enquiries once they are dealt with; early-access requests are kept until the launch and at most 12 months after it, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

5. The Methodarium app

The app stores your lab records encrypted on your own device and does not send them to us. Testers of the pre-release versions receive a separate privacy notice with their tester agreement.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21). Write to info@methodarium.com. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at) or to the supervisory authority in your country.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Changes

We update this policy when the website changes, for example when online purchasing is added. The current version is always on this page.
